"This is the kind of music that's epiphany-inducing, almost overdosing on soul and character."

Over the past two years The Toot Toot Toots have entertained audiences up and down the east coast of Australia. Forming at a bar on the spur of a moment, their shows have become a foot stompin', horn honkin', shimmy shakin' freak out replete with go-go dancers, a brass section and the occasional mandolin. Playing with many local and international acts, like Graveyard Train, Bob Log III, The Puta Madre Brothers and Ned Collette, the Toots have developed a reputation for their frenetic live shows and their unique country blues sound.
In 2010 the Toot Toot Toots released their EP, Curse the Crow, to critical acclaim. Conceptually driven, Curse the Crow told the story of a luckless misfit named Domino McKinley-Crow and his equally luckless family. Following this release the Toots set about writing and recording'Outlaws', a spaghetti western rock opera and theirdebut album. Set in the gold rush town of Gomorrah Fields, 'Outlaws' follows the story of emigré Eli Rayne and the vengence and bloodshed that shadows his arrival. The music on the album ranges from brooding and desolate, to gentle and melodious, to gospel inspired doo-wop-pop. Set to be released in April through Spooky Records, 'Outlaws' is the culmination of the band's work over the past 18 months.
